Raspberry Pi Model B+ is a credit card sized mini-computer board on which you can connect a keyboard or a screen. It is an ARM based mini-computer that lets you run office applications or games. Raspberry Pi Model B+ is also able to play play Hd videos. You can install Linux OS on the SD card on the board. Raspberry Pi Model B+ computer board incorporates a number of enhancements and new features. Improved power consumption, increased connectivity and greater IO are among the improvements to this powerful, small and lightweight ARM based computer.
Raspberry Pi Model B+ has an ARM11 CPU at 700MHz and 512MB RAM. The board also has an HDMI port, a microSD card socket, a CSI connector and four USB ports.
Raspberry Pi Model B+ is perfectly suitable for use in schools: it offers more flexibility for learners than the leaner Model A or A+, which are more useful for embedded projects and projects which require very low power, and has more USB ports than the Model B.
