Raspberry Pi - 7" Display 1280x800 (720p) IPS + Speakers - HDMI/VGA/NTSC/PAL is a small HDMI television with incredibly high resolution and built in 3W speakers! The visible display measures only 7" (17.8cm) diagonal, and the TFT comes in an enclosure with HDMI, VGA and Composite inputs. There are some little buttons on the front that let you enter a menu system for adjusting brightness, color and contrast. It auto-detects which input you have and switches to that one or you can 'select' from the menu which to display. Raspberry Pi - 7" Display 1280x800 (720p) IPS + Speakers - HDMI/VGA/NTSC/PAL comes with a basic stand, there are four ‘mounting thread’ holes in the back in a 75mmx75mm square, and you can use M4 screws to attach it to an enclosure. There is also a "Camera Mount" 1/4-20 hole in the bottom so you can attach it to a camera-ready mount.
It will work connected to any device with HDMI, VGA or NTSC/PAL output. It will not work with a device that only outputs DVI (without a DVI->HDMI converter) or SECAM.
There's also a slot in the side for a USB stick. In theory if you put some MP3’s, pictures or videos on the stick and plug it in you can use the display as a viewer. There’s also an audio line-in 3.5mm jack, so if you want to use NTSC/PAL/VGA you can pipe in audio from an external source. The + and - buttons on the front allow you to quickly change the speaker volume.
Works great with a Raspberry Pi or a BeagleBone Black, as well as Xbox, Windows desktop and MacBook (with an HDMI adapter cable).
A power adapter is not included.
