16 Channel Servo Controller info
16 Channel Servo Controller is an Arduino compatible servo controller board. The board has PCA9685 PWM controller chip. The board is controlled over I2C, so the microcontroller does not have to send continuous signals. The PWM signals sent to the servo motors are controlled by the built-in clock on the board. 16 Channel Servo Controller has 6 address select pins, so you can use 62 different boards on a single I2C bus which makes 992 independent PWM channels. The frequency modulation of PWM outputs is 1,6kHz maximum and PWM signals have 12-bit resolution.
